Why don't jehovah witness celebrate hoildays?

I only met one person who was a jehovah witness, and she said the reason why they don't celebrate is they don't belive christ did. But in the bible it written christ does pover, and other jewish hoildays, and he's called a rabbi. So wouldn't you only celebrate jewish hoildays? Why don't they do it?
