Are our political leaders cowards?

When our government was forcing the Iraqis to quickly set up their government, many of their politicians were inated during the process. It didn't bother anyone in Congress one little bit. Now one lunatic shoots one of their own and they're crying out for millions for additional protection. Never mind protection for the 6 ordinary folks who were killed. You want to be in politics and make decisions that effect 300 million people? Grow a pair.
