Is this a good Christmas present for her?

So... I started dating her the last week of October, so we're a fairly new couple. But I wanted to get her something nice, something that would last years upon years. So I got her a christmas ornament with the first letter of her name on it. Something that will last even when she's old. What do you think? Could I have done better?
