Problem with Advent 7111 laptop.?

When I switch on laptop a screen loads aking if i want to start windows in safe mode, last known safe settings or start windows normally. Tried all three options but all I get is a blue screen which flashes off almost instantly and the lap goes back tothe original screen asking about safe mode. Any suggestions? Thanks.
